Welcome to Nemma. By using our application and services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Nemma ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Nemma is a memory learning application that helps users transform study material into memorable visual narratives using the VIPS method (Visual, Intense, Paradoxical, Sequential). The Service includes:

• Creating and organizing learning projects
• AI-generated memory stories and icons
• Memory palace organization
• Spaced repetition review system
• Cross-device synchronization

3. Account Registration

To use Nemma, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent.

4. Subscription and Payments

Free Tier: Limited features with 2 lifetime story generations.

Paid Subscriptions: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all fees associated with your subscription
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Cancellation through your app store account settings

Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes on others' rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Share your account with others or resell access

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create in Nemma. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your content to provide the Service
• Send your content to AI services for story and icon generation
• Create backups for data protection

You are solely responsible for the content you create and must ensure it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

7. AI-Generated Content

Nemma uses artificial intelligence to generate memory stories and icons. You understand that:

• AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate or unexpected
• You may edit or regenerate content that doesn't meet your needs
• Generation limits apply based on your subscription tier
• We are not responsible for how you use AI-generated content

8. Intellectual Property

The Nemma application, including its design, features, and code, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• Any content will be accurate or reliable
• Your data will never be lost (please maintain your own backups)

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ends immediately
• Your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy
• No refunds will be provided for unused subscription time

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.
